Our nail extensions are made out of hard gels and hard builder gels. Please note that “hard gel” refers to the type of product used, not the overall feel or thickness of the nails. Our extensions are carefully sculpted to remain thin and flexible near the cuticle area, gradually building strength and thickness toward the tip for durability and a natural look.

Every set comes with complimentary disposable tools designed for easy application, removal, and reapplication of the nails.

Retention varies based on the health of your natural nails, the length of your natural nail bed, the enhancement length, your full application, and your lifestyle. For safety and nail health, all enhancements must be removed at the 4-week mark. As a first-time client, we will closely monitor your retention and make any necessary adjustments to ensure your nails last properly through the full 4 weeks.

Each set of Inglass nail extensions is handmade and crafted to order based on your booked slot. Once your slot is confirmed, your custom nails will be made and shipped the next business day. Delivery typically takes 2 to 7 business days, depending on your location. Express shipping options are available at checkout for faster delivery.

At Inglass Nails, client safety, sanitation, and product integrity are fundamental to our brand standards. As a 100% online nail studio, we do not service in-person clients, perform cuticle cutting, or use implements that come into contact with skin. Our model is intentionally designed to minimize cross-contamination risks while maintaining a luxury, salon-quality experience.

Single-Use Tools & Personal Application

Each set includes individually sealed, disposable tools intended for one-time personal use. These tools should be discarded after use and never shared. Because application and removal are performed by you, in your own environment, your set remains exclusively yours.

Renewing Service: Inspection & Eligibility

For clients utilizing our Renewing Service:

• Every returned set is thoroughly inspected upon arrival.
• If we observe any signs of bacterial growth, fungal presence, improper wear, or contamination, the service will be respectfully declined in accordance with safety standards.
  

Bacterial infections associated with nail enhancements are most commonly caused by prolonged lifting that traps moisture beneath the enhancement. Our proprietary bonding system and application method are specifically designed to minimize lifting when applied correctly.

Additionally, the portion of the nail most exposed to daily elements—the free edge—is open to air and regularly cleansed through normal handwashing, making it an unlikely environment for bacterial growth when proper hygiene is maintained.

Professional Disinfection Protocol

All eligible returned nail extensions undergo a structured, multi-step sanitization process:

1. Hospital-Grade Disinfection
   Each set is treated with an EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant and cleaner with fungicidal, virucidal, bactericidal, antimicrobial, and mildewcidal properties.
2. Bond & Surface Refinement
   Residual bonding product is professionally removed. Both the underside and surface of each extension are carefully resurfaced to restore integrity and appearance.
3. Re-Finishing Process
   A fresh top coat is applied to ensure a renewed, flawless finish.
4. Single-Use Service Materials
   All tools and materials used during the renewal process that come into contact with your set are disposable and designated for that set only.

At no stage do your nail extensions come into contact with another client’s nails.

Application over Compromised Natural Nails: 

Do not apply Inglass Nails™ extensions over natural nails that are broken, damaged, or show signs of suspicious discoloration or bacterial infection. 

Applying our nail extensions to broken or infected nails can trap moisture and bacteria, potentially worsening the infection and making it harder to treat. 

The application processes can further weaken already compromised nails, increasing the risk of breakage, splitting, and other damage.

Discoloration can be a sign of a fungal or bacterial infection or even other health conditions. Inglass Nails extensions are designed to adhere to a healthy, clean nail surface. Damaged or infected nails may not allow for proper adhesion, leading to lifting, chipping, and a shorter lifespan for the nail extensions. 

Please, treat any infections or address the damage before considering Inglass Nails extensions. Consult with a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment if you have concerns about your nail health. And lastly, give your natural nails time to heal and strengthen before applying our nail extensions.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual whose natural nails are broken, damaged, or show signs of infection, suspicious discoloration, or other conditions that may compromise nail health or hygiene. This policy is in place to ensure the safety, well-being, and quality of service for all clients.

Craftsmanship & Design Disclaimer

Our nail extensions are created using hard gels, a non-porous material. Please note that “hard gel” refers to the type of product used, not the overall feel or thickness of the nails. Our extensions are carefully sculpted to remain thin and flexible near the cuticle area, gradually building strength and thickness toward the tip for durability and a natural look.

The design of our nail extensions has transformed significantly over time. While the thickness of the nails can differ based on the chosen nail art and length. Please be aware that some product images may not yet reflect these recent updates.

Since Inglass Nails reusable nail extensions are handmade, slight variations may be present; no two nails are the same. Furthermore, imperfections such as air bubbles, glitters, and tiny dust particles may be present. 
The apex might also be more defined in some nail designs than in others. Structurally, the thickness of the nails might also vary based on the designs. 
Additionally, nail art may vary based on length.

Kindly understand that screens and lighting can affect the colors pictured; thus, actual colors may vary depending on the lighting. 

Proper Application and Removal 

All application and removal instructions must be followed exactly as outlined in our Inglass Nails Guide. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in compromised wear, damage to the natural nails or nail extensions, and an increased risk of bacterial infection. 

We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who does not comply with our application and removal guidelines.

Renewal Service Policy

Our nail extensions are designed to be renewed up to two (2) times. In some cases, if the nail extensions remain structurally sound after the second renewal, additional servicing may be possible. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and clients will be contacted to discuss available options.

To qualify for renewal, all Inglass Nails application and removal guidelines must be strictly followed. Please note the following:

• No alternative glues or adhesives may be used to apply the nail extensions.
• Nail extensions must not be removed by soaking or with any remover other than the official Inglass Nails Debonder.

We reserve the right to refuse renewal services if:

• Discoloration or signs of bacterial infection are present upon inspection
• Unauthorized products or removal methods were used
• Nail extensions are broken or structurally compromised

Broken Nail Extensions

Broken nail extensions must be handcrafted from scratch and are not included in the renewal service. If a nail extension requires replacement due to loss, wear and tear, chipping, or mishandling, this must be disclosed prior to sending the extensions for renewal. Replacement services will be billed separately.

Our Bond-on hard gel nail extensions™ are handcrafted with precision and designed for long-lasting wear. While durable, they are not resistant to excessive force or improper use.

Potential Causes of Damage

Chips or cracks may occur from:

• Applying pressure or impact to the free edge
• Using nails as tools (opening, prying, or scraping)
• Accidental trauma or snagging
• Long term exposure to harsh chemicals or acetone
• Altering the extensions after application
• Incorrect application or sizing performed by the customer

Replacements / refunds

We do not replace or refund extensions damaged through wear, mishandling, or activities after application.

Accidental Damage & Wear-and-Tear Policy

Our nail extensions are sculpted from scratch using 100% hard gel and are intentionally designed to be reworn and serviced, not disposable. Because nails are worn in real life, we distinguish between accidental damage and normal wear and tear.

1. Accidental Damage (Covered)

Accidental damage refers to sudden, unexpected incidents that cause immediate damage to one or more nail extensions.

Examples include:

• An object falling onto the nail

• Fingers being caught, squeezed, or impacted (e.g., doors, drawers, cooking accidents, bags)

• A one-time strong impact resulting in cracking or breakage

Coverage:

• We will replace the affected nail extension(s) free of charge

• Replacement nails will be quickly shipped to you

• Coverage applies only to damage caused by a single, accidental event

This policy exists because accidents can happen, even with well-built nails.

2. Wear & Tear (Not Accidental Damage)

Wear and tear refers to gradual changes that occur through normal, repeated use over time.

Examples include:

• Surface scratches or scuffing

• Loss of shine

• Minor thinning at the free edge

• Small chips from repeated use

• Changes due to extended wear without servicing

Wear and tear is expected and does not qualify as accidental damage.

3. Rewear & Servicing

Our nail extensions are designed to be reworn and serviced up to three (2) times per set, if desired.

• Servicing addresses wear and tear

• Servicing restores finish and shape

• Servicing is separate from accidental damage replacement

4. Important Notes

• Accidental damage coverage applies only to unexpected, one-time incidents

• Repeated damage, improper use, or neglect may void coverage

• Natural nail health and proper application/removal are required to maintain rewear eligibility
